[BF1 Wallpaper] Battlefield 1 Weapons

Hi everyone, I got another treat for you.

Starting with a new HD wallpaper combining the Soldier on the coast picture and the official Battlefield 1 background that we now are so familiar with.

But not only that, there's been a few confirmed WW1 weapons now for Battlefield 1 that we can tell you some more about.

Lets start with the Pistol seen in the picture. It's the Mauser C96 Pistol and is a well known weapon from WW1. It might look simple but there are some real attachments for the Mauser C96 and I bet that we get to see something similar to this in the actual Battlefield 1 game.

Also in the game that you can see in the picture is the SMG that the soldier is carrying. It's the MP18 SMG shown, and many call it the first successful Sub Machine Gun from WW1.

Many people have wondered what that round thing on the soldiers back is supposed to be, well I can tell you know it's a little weapon named the Lifebuoy Flamethrower.

Now if burning up alive wasn't bad enough, imagine being beaten with this Spiked Mace shown in the picture also used in Battlefield 1. Or beaten by any type of these Trench Clubs that were being used as Trench Weapons during WW1. The Spiked Mace is confirmed, so lets see if Dice will give us a few more of these types of weapons.

But I mean really, this thing is so nasty. And it shows us the the real grim reality of WW1 how close combat during that time was done in the many trenches all over Europe.

It's safe to say there won't be any "counter knife" option in Battlefield 1 with a spiked mace.

Battlefield 1 Scope Glint Gameplay

Hey everyone, I was thinking I would bring up something I discovered about the Battlefield 1 game mechanics that I'm sure all of you know about from the earlier Battlefield games. Battlefield 1 - Scope Glint Gameplay Back in Battlefield 3 it was introduced something that most people call scope glint, it's a gameplay mechanic added to high power scopes. In Battlefield a high power scope is defined as a scope with a zoom greater than 4x. So this mechanic is limited to the Recon Class aka Scout Class that this class now is called in Battlefield 1. The scope glare or glint causes the sniper's scope to be visible from a considerable distance as a bright glare like THE SUN . In Battlefield 4 this also occurs during night time! The glare is brightest when seen from the direct line of fire and is less noticeable at off angles. [BF4 Wallpaper] Battlefield Los Angeles

Hello everyone, I was sitting here and thinking about what kind of a Battlefield 4 wallpaper to put together for you guys and ended up thinking about the 2011 movie Battle: Los Angeles. The movie have some nice scenes and Concept Art by Paul Gerrard (creature deign) . If you have seen the movie the whole thing plays out inside the city, so that's basically what you see in this "Battlefield" background.
