EA DICE Legacy of Lies

French videogames journalist here, I will write here what I've seen and experienced with EA France. Firstly, EA doesn't invite anybody to press events. They have a very precise list of journalists, bloggers and influencers, who aren't "hostile" to EA in any way. They want their products to be advertised and talked about in articles, posts and everywhere else on the web. By inviting journalists, and giving them free stuff (mostly goodies, but free premium versions of the game too), they in fact offer you an indirect pact with them : We give you that, so you behave and give us visibility. But I got blacklisted from all of their events, after publishing an article exposing EA and DICE's lies. Back in the day, I was invited to all of their events, had to sign NDAs (Non-Disclosure Agreements, but that's normal), and I had the opportunity to talk with EA France staff, and even DICE developers.
