You may have noticed that Origin is having problems with BF4 at the moment. Issues include: Dice Please! BF4.exe showing only a white window Battlelog stuck at "logging in" Battlelog Multiplayer servers missing Favorite servers missing Recent played servers missing You can't play Campaign or Test Range The servers you played on crashed during gameplay The reason behind all these problems is because Blaze is having network problems. And in return causing problems for Dice / EA and Origin to run Battlefield 4 servers and their services. Blaze (the authentication and stats back-end for this game) seems to be having problems right now and this is causing most servers to frequently crash. This started at about 4:55pm PDT. Hi everyone! Dice have reported that they will deploy a new game server update on Tuesday Feb 10 1AM PDT / 09.00 UTC. Dice BF4 Logo This maintenance is estimated to last approximately 1 hour and multiplayer may be restricted during this time period. So it's still too early to say how this new server patch works for everyone. But lets all hope that Dice actually manage to fix something this time around.

Well it looks like that new BF4 2.0 Patch that everyone was hoping for to give big improvements to the gameplay is a bit of a fail for Dice.. The new patch for Battlefield 4 named BF4 2.0 is changing everything about the gameplay. Some say that BF4 after the 2.0 patch is more and more becoming like CoD! However some say that BF4 have now become BF3! BF4 2.0 patch is more like BF3 Wallpaper Well there have been many changes to the game, weapons, recoil, sprint to name a few is just the tip of the iceberg of "fixes" the BF4 team have been playing with for this fall. There have been a word thrown around in the Battlefield 4 community for a while about a very annoying and frustrating bug termed “netcode”. Some have been wondering now that Battlefield 4 have been released for download from Origin if preloading battlefield 4 is a smart thing to do. And why is that? Well you see Battlefield 3 was patched after only 1 day of it's release. So it might be a smart move to it to hold off your download if you have a slower connection and don't want to spend a lot of time on downloading patches for battlefield 4. Some have reported that they only get around 100 KiB/s download from Origin even though they have a fast connection. However it turns out that the preloaded battlefield 4 already have a folder called "Patch". That means you are not downloading the same version that was burned to disc weeks ago. And even though you download 24 GB of information from Origin does not mean you have to download that much for a patch of the game.
